This is the main outline of the events that will follow in my film opening. Despite only having around 30 shots the duration of my film will be about 2 minutes 12 seconds. There is less shots due to shots being placed together with split screen. Many of my shots are quick to engage the audience and to make the film appear exciting despite the mundane actions. The shots slow down in time towards the end to suggest the serious tone that the film will also have. I will probably add more shots and take out various ones from my animatic but overall the idea will stay the same. This will include more attention to the flashbacks as well as shots of the setting so the audience can gain a sense of the character and where she lives.
